Oscar & Eva's Tipi Wedding
Set on Oscar's family farm, Oscar and Eva's wedding was a relaxed and joyful tipi wedding filled with personality, thoughtful details and a wonderful sense of fun. Surrounded by open countryside, fairy lights and family, they wanted to create a celebration that felt informal and effortless while ensuring every detail was carefully considered behind the scenes. The couple chose a stunning tipi supplied by Cheshire Tipi Company, creating a relaxed outdoor wedding setting that perfectly reflected their vision for the day.
Planning a tipi wedding on private land comes with unique challenges. Unlike a traditional venue, there is no dedicated venue team managing suppliers, timelines or logistics throughout the day. From catering and entertainment to guest experience and timings, every element requires careful coordination to ensure everything runs smoothly.
In the lead up to the wedding, I worked closely with Oscar and Eva to build a detailed wedding timeline and coordinate plans across multiple suppliers. Together, we created a structure that allowed the day to feel relaxed and natural while ensuring all of the important moments were carefully planned.
On the wedding day, I acted as the main point of contact for suppliers, managed logistics across the site and coordinated the many moving parts involved in a tipi wedding. From supporting supplier set up and overseeing the drinks reception to coordinating speeches, managing technical requirements and adapting timings throughout the day, my role was to ensure everything ran seamlessly behind the scenes.
One of the highlights of the celebration was a traditional tea ceremony, alongside multiple outfit changes and an evening filled with music, dancing and laughter. Throughout the day, my focus remained on allowing Oscar and Eva to enjoy every moment with their family and friends while I managed the details around them.
The result was a beautiful family farm wedding that felt relaxed, personal and completely true to the couple. A wonderful example of how professional wedding coordination can help couples enjoy a stress free tipi wedding while ensuring every detail is taken care of.
