The Finishing Touch gives you the freedom to hand over everything you have carefully put together and simply enjoy what comes next. I become the person keeping an eye on the details, guiding the flow of the day and making sure your plans come to life as you intended, without you needing to manage them yourself.

Designed for couples who are happy and confident planning independently, my involvement is intentionally focused around the final handover and your wedding day, giving you experienced coordination exactly when you need it.

I bring a calm, highly organised approach to every wedding I coordinate, taking responsibility for the details while keeping what matters most to you at the heart of the day.

On the day, I oversee timings, coordinate your suppliers, support your guests and keep an eye on the details that bring everything together.

Weddings rarely unfold without the odd change or challenge, and when something needs adapting, I step in and find the best solution with your plans, priorities and the experience you want for your wedding in mind.

It means you have one experienced person looking at the whole picture, making sure the wedding you have carefully planned is delivered with care, while you and the people closest to you are free to be present and enjoy it.

You’ll complete your priorities form and pull together the key details for your Behind the Scenes Guide, giving me an insight into your wedding, your suppliers and what matters most to you.

Hand it all over

Two weeks before your wedding, we’ll have a dedicated 90 minute handover meeting to walk through everything together, clarify the details and make sure I understand exactly how you want your day to unfold.

Enjoy your wedding

On the day, I take your plans and put them into action, coordinating suppliers, timings, guests and the details behind the scenes, so you can step away from managing it and simply enjoy being part of it.

The Gentle Hand offers a more personal and detailed approach.

With more time together in the lead up, I get to know your wedding in depth, understand the priorities behind your decisions and build a clear picture of how every element should come together. I can review the finer details, identify anything that may need further thought and speak directly with your suppliers ahead of the day.

Is The Finishing Touch right for you?

The Finishing Touch is designed for couples who feel confident in the wedding they have planned and are happy managing their own suppliers, decisions and details in the lead up.

You know what you want, you have everything organised and you do not need ongoing planning support. What you do want is the confidence of handing it all over to an experienced professional when the wedding arrives, so neither you nor the people you love have to manage the day.

It is a more focused level of coordination, with my time centred around understanding your plans at handover and bringing them to life on the wedding day.

FAQs

1 / Do you handle the setup and breakdown of DIY decor?

As a wedding coordinator working in Manchester, Cheshire and across the UK, I will coordinate your design and décor team, whether that be florists, designers or your bridesmaids, and I will oversee the placement of personal touches like place cards, guest books, and photos to ensure they match your vision. We will work together to make sure the timings I am there on the day marry up to when you need me to be around. I don't handle the actual set-up of the venue, I can coordinate it, where time allows.

2 / What happens if a vendor has an issue on the morning of the wedding?

That’s exactly why I’m there. From a harpist in Manchester running late to a missing buttonhole from your florist in Cheshire, I am the first point of contact for all vendors. My goal is to solve those "behind-the-scenes" hiccups before you or your partner even know they’ve happened. Although I won't be briefing your suppliers in advance, I will have messaged them all to say hello and to make sure they know to message me with any concerns. I will work with suppliers to find solutions, and will inform you of the decisions, and outcomes. I may require your input on the decision if it feels necessary.

3 / When do you officially "take over" the reins as on-the-day coordinator?

While this is a day-of service, "The Finishing Touch" typically begins 1 - 3 weeks before your wedding date. Where you can give me the details you've planned and then I put them into action, there is very little support to check for amends and changes, unless you add additional sessions.

4 / Can we message for advice beforehand?

As this package is designed to deliver the best possible service at the lowest possible cost, there is no ongoing discussion in advance of the call we have together. You are welcome to add in sessions where I will offer as much advice and support you need. If you are looking for a little more direction, building a stronger relationship with me in advance of your day and just generally having complete and utter trust that I know and have everything I need I would really recommend the Gentle Hand package.

5 / What is the payment structure?

For this package, I take a 50% deposit upon signature of the contract, then the final invoice will be due 2 weeks prior to the wedding day for the remaining 50%. If you add in any add-ons, they will be included, alongside travel costs, in the final invoice. I take bank transfers for payment or PayPal.

6 / Can you coordinate marquee, tipi and dry hire weddings?

Absolutely. Marquee and tipi weddings are some of the celebrations where having an independent wedding coordinator can make the biggest difference.
With no traditional venue team overseeing the day, there are often more suppliers, logistics and moving parts to bring together. I coordinate everything on site, from supplier arrivals and set up to timings, guest flow and the details behind the scenes, so the day feels relaxed, considered and exactly as you planned it.
