I’m Nicole, a professional wedding planner and coordinator based in Manchester, supporting couples across Cheshire, West Yorkshire, the wider North West and across the UK. I specialise in calm, on-the-day coordination and co-planning for couples who want a beautifully run wedding without the stress.
Why The Wedding Hand Started
I got engaged and I threw myself into planning my own wedding and loved bringing all the details together. But as the day approached, I realised just how much there was to manage behind the scenes. From coordinating suppliers and timelines to answering questions and handling last minute changes, there were countless details that needed attention.
Although our wedding was everything we hoped for, I couldn't help but feel that having a dedicated wedding coordinator would have allowed us and our families to be even more present and relaxed throughout the day.
That experience inspired me to create The Wedding Hand. Today, I help couples across Manchester, Cheshire and the North West enjoy a more organised, stress free wedding experience through thoughtful planning, expert coordination and calm support from start to finish.
Nicole's Background
Before founding The Wedding Hand, I built a career in project and event management, leading complex programmes, coordinating multiple stakeholders and delivering events where organisation, communication and attention to detail were essential.
Today, I bring those same skills to wedding planning and coordination. Whether I'm creating detailed timelines, managing suppliers or overseeing the finer details behind the scenes, my focus is always on helping couples enjoy a stress free wedding experience.
Nicole's Training
Alongside my professional experience, I hold a BA (Hons) in Management, a Masters in Leadership and a PRINCE2 Project Management qualification.
I am also currently completing a Diploma in Life Coaching, allowing me to support couples not only with the practical aspects of planning, but with the decisions and priorities that shape their wedding day.

Since launching The Wedding Hand, I have coordinated weddings across Manchester, Cheshire, Yorkshire and the North West, including marquee weddings, tipi weddings, dry hire venues, country houses, hotels and village halls.
My experience includes managing multiple suppliers, coordinating cultural traditions, supporting international guests and overseeing the countless details that help a wedding day run smoothly.
