With independent caterers, florists, entertainers, stylists and other wedding suppliers all contributing to the day, clear communication and experienced coordination become essential. Each supplier may be responsible for their own element, but someone still needs to understand the complete plan and ensure everything comes together from the first delivery to the final farewell.
One decision can affect everything else
Timings, access, layout, catering, entertainment and guest experience do not exist separately.
Moving one part of the day can change what several suppliers need to do next. I look beyond each individual decision to understand how it affects the wedding as a whole, so the plan works both practically and for the experience you want to create.

A converted mill works differently from a village hall. A private estate brings different considerations to ex-photo studio. Equally, the upstairs loft needs to be considered differently to the downstairs space with access outdoors.

Are dry hire venues licensed to hold weddings?
Some dry hire wedding venues are approved for legal civil ceremonies, while others are not. Before booking, check the venue’s approval status and registrar availability with the relevant local authority. If the venue is not approved, you can complete the legal ceremony at a register office or approved premises and hold a separate celebrant led or symbolic ceremony at your dry hire venue.
What is the difference between a venue coordinator and a wedding coordinator?
A venue manager or coordinator is responsible for the venue, including the building, facilities, access arrangements and venue rules. A wedding coordinator is responsible for bringing your wedding plans together. I manage your supplier arrivals, timeline, setup, key moments, guest questions and any issues behind the scenes. At a dry hire wedding venue, a venue representative will not usually coordinate every element of your wedding day, which is why having your own dedicated coordinator is so important.
